We are the Matthews- Jonathan, Leah, Logan Juliette, Jude Espen and Arden Claire. He is from Colorado/Texas. She is from southern California. Together we've bounced around from Utah to California to Texas, finally landing in Washington state. We put down roots and made the Pacific Northwest our home and planned on settling down there for awhile. But, you know what they say, "life never goes according to plan!"
Applying for a job in Scotland began as just a joke, such a long shot, we never supposed such an opportunity would become a reality. But, through many prayers, much research and support from family and friends here we are! And, as we're always on the look out for a new adventure we expect to make many fantastic memories here as a family. We are excited to share our stories and expat experiences with you.

Here's the reason I'm writing you out of the blue!! Google sent me a notice on 10-21-15 saying that my email account had been logged into from an Android phone. They wanted to alert me.
I showed the email to my smart co-worker and he said it was a big concern. He looked into it and it showed the Android phone was in Great Britain. He made me think hard if I'd ever had an Android phone and I finally remembered that I had borrowed your phone about 2.5 years ago, and that you guys now lived in Scotland. He asked me if I had wiped the phone clean from my stuff before I gave it back to you, and I didn't think I did. So he thought perhaps you guys just turned that phone on on October 21st and with my stuff still on there, your phone went to my email and logged into it? Could this possibly be what happened? Do you still have that phone in your possession? I hope this is what happened! Or perhaps have you sold that phone to someone else there in Scotland and they are now able to log into my account? My boss is very concerned, of course, because we have lots of sensitive stuff involved with emails. So, can you please email me back and let me know the status of that phone so I'll know what steps I need to take!!! Thank you so much for your help with this. I'm sad I didn't remember I had your blogspot address many months ago. I am now going to spend some time looking at all the beautiful pics on your blog!
